The Apple Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop is available to order today via and in Apple Stores from May 25, priced $99 USD, while the Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop is coming soon to Nike, priced, $49 USD. The loop is infinitely adjustable and paired with a matching Nike watch face. Meanwhile, Nike presents its Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop in the six colors of the original rainbow, using reflective yarn for improved visibility outdoors at night.
“On many fronts, Apple supports the ongoing and unfinished work of equality for diverse and intersectional communities, and we want to provide every opportunity to celebrate and honor this history during Pride season.” “Even before the events at the Stonewall Inn brought the LGBTQ+ movement to new prominence, Black, Brown, and transgender activists were key leaders in the march toward equality,” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO. The loop, which is offered in 12 different lengths to make for a perfect fit, is also paired with access to a dynamic watch face, which mirrors the colors of the loop and sees its threads scroll in an infinite animation when the watch’s digital crown is rotated.
Apple’s woven design incorporates the original rainbow colors along with those drawn from various Pride flags to “represent the breadth of diversity among LGBTQ+ experiences and the history of a movement that has spanned generations.”
